UCLA DMA SENIOR SHOW — June 4, 2009, 10:00 am

One of the first and only requirements for admission into the undergraduate Design Media Arts program is a self-portrait in any medium. Upon leaving, it’s safe to say that a more thorough understanding of ourselves and of various media has changed how we choose to interpret this prompt.

Because any work is inherently a representation of who we are, this is an invitation to revisit all that we’ve done as a reflection and refraction of how we see ourselves now. Self Portraits is the culmination of a process of exploration, examination and expression begun four years ago.
