Gail Swanlunds recent work investigates a sentient wilderness, seen or not. Swanlund is a graphic designer and Design Program Co-Director and faculty at CalArts; she joins the UCLA Design Media Arts faculty as Arts Council Visiting Professor for the academic year 200910.
