Calling Across: A Mid Residency Exhibition by Peijing Mou

A call becomes a ripple;
A ripple becomes a message.
Calling Across invites you into a fragile, absurd long-distance echo: a telematic connection designed primarily for fish. For millennia, trout migrated between the Arroyo Seco watershed and the sea—an ancestral route now interrupted by concrete. This exhibition imagines an alternative channel of communication across dam-fragmented habitats.
